Are there standard template experience letters online I can print out, submit to my employer and have him sign? I worked for a CPA temporarily in Woburn, MA who told me I could provide him the letter and he would sign off on it. I have no idea how to type an experience letter, are there basic templates out there?

I went through this back in October, but my situation was with private experience, and so I don't think it's applicable to yours. For what it's worth, my letter was basically a more wordy resume where I tied the tasks I performed in my job to specific categories like compilations, management advisory services, consulting, tax, and assurance.

When it comes to documenting your CPA experience in Mass does anyone know if public accounting firms have standard templates that your respective supervisor fills out? (I start in a public accounting firm in the fall)
