For those of you who have taken the LSU online courses, how quickly did you complete the course? I need three more hours to get my 150 and I’m planning to take ACCT 4235 Fraud auditing and forensic accounting. Their website says the minimum time is 8 weeks. I’d like to knock this out as quickly as possible so I can apply for my license. Is 8 weeks realistic or does it take longer due to delays in grading, etc.?

I took that class and blew through it in 8 weeks. I think I even had to wait to take the final because I went through the material so quickly. It was a super interesting class.

If I remember right, it took about a week for my grade to post after taking the final.

@jjordan022 did you have to complete the pre-requisite for the fraud auditing course?

I have international education, so was wondering if completing the pre-requisite will be compulsory for me?

Does anyone have any inputs on my situation?

It's been a hot minute since I took it but IIRC, they don't let you finish before the 8 weeks unfortunately. However that is more than enough time as that class is real easy. Good luck!
