Hello all,

Have to take an online class to fulfill the 150/cr hour requirement for NYS. I applied online at LSU last Friday and have cruised through the first three modules. I just noticed the ticker on the left of the moodle site, and saw an “8 week date.” Do I have to take at least 8 weeks to finish the class? Am I powering through this class for no reason?

You won't be able to take the final until 8 weeks have passed. So yes.

I took the same class and really enjoyed it. Super interesting.

Do these courses give u the letter grades(not pass and fail grades), and credit hours to fulfill the 180 hour requirement?

So basically you can do the whole course as soon as you pay, but just wait to take the final exam to get the credits?

@c1oth They do give letter grades. And yes you can blow through the course quickly and wait until the 8 week mark to take the final. I think I ended up doing that for this class.
