Hi all Louisiana folks. Louisiana has an Experience Verification Form you fill out and have your supervising CPA sign. Is this all that is needed? I guess I assumed that the CPA would need to write a separate letter. Is the form signed all that is needed?

    FAR - 08/30/15 - 90
    AUD - 11/12/15 - 92
    REG - 01/19/16 - 82
    BEC - 02/29/16 - 83

Passed all on 1st attempt using GLEIM (full program) and NINJA (MCQ only)!!!

From what I can tell, all you need to send in is the application and the experience verification form. Kricket can probably give you a more definitive answer though.

Yep, it's only the application and experience form to submit. Just make sure you send originals as the board doesn't accept copies.

Only 1 year of experience is required in Louisiana, right?

    REG - 84
    BEC - 87

That's correct. Also, you don't HAVE to work directly under a CPA. As long as someone higher up in the chain is a CPA and can attest to your performance, he can sign off on experience.

“At least one year of experience must be confirmed by employers and verified by a licensed CPA who is in a position to know, that was within the four years preceding the date of the license application.” From the boards website. FYI for anyone wondering.
