Limited Exit Opportunites for Big Four Specialization

    I was wondering if anyone out there has specialized in Tax (Indirect, Transaction, International, etc.) and whether or not that has limited exit opportunities in the future.

    Let’s say you are hoping to climb up to Manager in Big Four, and then looking to make a move to Private. Was it harder to make the move compared to someone who stayed till manager but worked in general compliance/federal for most of their time?
