As many of us aspire to be CPAs, there should be a good chunk going into Big4 or are already in that environment (KPMG, EY, PwC, Deloitte).

There’s always a lack of transparency about salary ranges after Staff 1 (Currently the avg starting is $55000, with 2-3k more if you’re in NY or SF or the like).

My hope here is to leverage the anonymous forum to get data points in for the firms for the salaries in different years. The firms have different requirements to be senior (takes 2 years at EY but 3 at PwC) and manager. So let’s go by years in public.

    Year 1: $55000
    Year 2: $59000
    Year 3:
    Year 4:
    Year 5 (Manager?)
    Year 6 (Manager)

The reason for this is to see how we are doing with others, but also to compare with industry trends – aka knowing when to get out and get our true worth.

*Note: I have seen similar threads on Going Concern, but I figured this would be something many have on their mind. If this is against some policy, please disregard the thread and excuse my ignorance.*

I think glassdoor might have some good data points..May have to be taken with a grain of salt, but it is a starting point.

That's true, and I've done that, but like you said there is not as much data on there as I'd like to see.
