Whether its a certain threshold, formula, or theory, what are a few of the best things to give a quick glance over before taking the REG Exam? I’m talking directly before the exam, like maybe an hour or two before leaving your house to go to Prometric and in the car on the way there. I know some people take some time to relax on test day, but I find it helpful to put a few important concepts at the top of my head right before taking a test.

    FAR - 77
    REG - 83
    AUD - 87
    BEC - 83

    I'd look over:

-Basis: C corps, S corps, Partnerships

    -Liquidation and non-liquidation of Partnerships

    -Estate and Trust taxation

    -AMT: Preferences and adjustments

-Property transactions: 1231, 1245, 1250 real and personal property (recapture also)

-Skim all of BLaw (I had a ton of BLaw MCQ on my exam)

SIMs will test tax only pretty much. Just as a FYI, I wouldn't study too much the day of your exam. I feel it only increases pressure and anxiety to pass. If you allotted enough time to study for the exam, you should be good to go. Best of luck!

    REG - 79
    FAR - ?
    AUD - ?
    BEC - ?
