I have been searching for a tax accountant position for a couple months now. I’ve passed 3 sections and trying to pass the fourth. Does anyone have any advice on how to get my foot in the door with a CPA firm? I don’t have much public accounting experience, only private internal accounting experience. I want to change direction in my career and get in to tax (but with out any tax experience.) Any advice would help! Thanks and good luck to all fellow ninjas!!!

Try getting connected with a local VITA site. I don't know about other areas, but I know the ones in my area are generally understaffed and in need of volunteers. It's a great way to get some hands-on experience, and looks great on a resume, especially if you're going for a tax position. Most only run through tax season, but I think there are a few out there that run year-round to deal with back-year return issues.
