I had a second-round interview with one of big 4 accounting firms yesterday, and I sent a thank you letter to my two interviewers this morning. One of them got back to me pretty quickly, like within 2 hours. Do you guys think this is a rejection email? If this is a rejection email, I will start applying for other firms….

Also, my friend who had exactly the same interviewers yesterday didn’t get any email from them. They only replied to my email.. They are letting me know quickly that I didn’t get selected?

I know they make a decision pretty quickly.

I wanted to take a moment to thank you again for talking with me yesterday, I really appreciate the advice! I enjoyed learning about the Global Employment Services group and sharing my educational background and work experience with you. Thank you for suggesting that my educational background would fit well with a career in global mobility tax. As a person trying to find my way into the world of tax, I am very excited to try and learn more about different areas of taxation.

Again, I appreciate the opportunity to interview with you and I look forward to hearing your decision.
