I’m new to the forum, and I have my first exam (FAR) at the end of next week. I felt like I was doing okay going through my CPAExcel review course until I took my first exam sim last night….. 57…… Do you think there is any way I can bring it up to passing in the amount of time I have left, or do I need to reschedule the exam?

They can test you in anything there heart desires. I wouldn't go to the real exam with less than a cumulative exam score of at least 70. I did not do enough of those cumulative exams and look where I ended up.

I stopped taking the practice exams altogether. I took them for audit, but I think they were a waste of time, except for experiencing what a timed test feels like.

Just do the MCQs over and over, especially in the sections you were weakest in. I like doing MCQs in study mode, because you can get the correct answer & explanation right away. Take notes on the ones you miss and the explanations.

Any nonpassing score is an invitation to chaning your method of studying, normally towards a more materials memorization vs exercise crushing approach.
