Is most CPA Exam software designed on a Jumbo Tron?

I have been at this exam for way too long and have dealt with several study software and sat for the exam more times than I’d like to admit. I can’t think of anything more annoying than a question or an explanation that doesn’t fit on the computer screen! I’ve often wondered how anyone could think presenting a question or SIM that is larger than what fits on the average computer screen would be a good idea! The only explanation I can come up with is that they must be using Jumbo Trons when writing these things. Its puzzling that there is dead space on the top and bottom of the screen and the questions are squeezed in a tiny box in the middle. I have a 19” monitor, but I feel like I’m using a 15” monitor…

Does anyone else have frustrations with this?

Try zooming out on your browser.

I've tried zooming out. The window pane of information just becomes bigger, but it doesn't allow more info within the pane to be visible.

Try a different browser – see if that helps.

I've tried other browsers. Its just that the softwares only seem to utilize 80% of the screen for studying and the remaining is not used. Most instances it doesn't matter, but when a financial statement is used or a SIM it can be very troublesome. I guess its good practice for the exam since they seem to have trouble making everything visible too.
