To pass all four parts on the first try? I’m currently going through the process of looking for a new job and when asked about cpa and how long it took me to pass, I tell them I passed all sections on the first try (which I did). I always get amazed looks and congratulations . Why does it matter? I studied really, really hard for the exam and just passing should be enough. I guess it just annoys me.

If you didn't pass it would really be a big deal…..people can't seem to celebrate success but dwell on failure. The scale changes so many times from genius, brilliant, and mediocre. Those that passed on a first try, brilliant, but did they get a 99, not a genius, received a 75, well mediocre. Did you pass? all of the above

Congrats on the pass. You and your family can enjoy the success of hard work no matter how many times whether it's one or 15 who really cares but it's done and that's the main thing. You're where MANY want to be including me…

    It begins with a 75
Been here too long as a cheerleader....ready to pass

    This!

I had a goal of passing all four on the first try. Didn't happen. It was a tough pill to swallow, but when I finally got that last score, you can bet I completely forgot about that 72. If you passed all four on the first shot, celebrate!! If it took you a few – or a lot – more tries, but you stuck it out and passed them all, celebrate!! No matter which side of the coin you're on, getting those three letters behind your name is a really big deal. 🙂
