Get serious!!! This exam is no joke and it requires lots sacrifice. Make a plan and do what it takes to stick to that plan.

    My study tips are:

    1. Use the ELL method – it's amazing how much easier it is to study when you spread your hours throughout the day

    2. Do non-stop MCQs

    3. Re-write notes – really helps you retain the information

When working on any sections with formulas involved, every time you answer a question, write the formula out. Doing this each and every time, even if you know the answer, helps commit the formula to memory making it a breeze to answer those ratio questions on test day.

    AUD - 4/3/13-60 Retake 7/2/13-72 Retake 11/13/13-74 Retake 5/14/14
    BEC - 5/30/13-76
    FAR - 2/14/14-79
    REG - 4/4/14

For me, a little bit of fun is okay such as family gatherings. I try not to miss special holidays however, i flake to all other friends invitation to have a night out or birthdays. ☺️ Prioritize what is important. If feel tired and stressed, take a break (i watch movies or my favorite tv shows) then get back to studying if you feel that your head is ready to store informations again. I pray too :). I am religious so i find comfort that i am not alone in this journey (if you are not religious, you can skip this part). I listen to the audio discussions while working, driving back to work, and i repeat what i've heard from the audio discussions to myself. I also take notes for scanning.

These methods works for me so if you think these things will help you then try it. ☺️

“The road to success is through perseverance and hardwork.” I keep reminding myself that if i want to be a CPA then i have to be strong emotionally and mentally to beat the obstacles that comes along my way.

    FAR – 74,81

    AUD- 52, 81

    BEC – 74, 77

    REG – 63, retake on 2/26/14

    Good luck everyone!

My study tips are the followings. # Go through many MCQs at least 3 times. # Go through Glossary if your text book has one to understand what it really means. # Do Progress Test to see what chapter you are doing well and not doing well and do study harder on those weak part. # Always link one thing to another in terms of relation and subject. # Analyze the structure of your textbook and re-construct by yourself linking one subject to another. # For simulation, do at least 10 times each and create your own simulation problems as well. # Lastly aim for 100 points meaning with your study material, you should be getting 100 points on your MCQ and simulation.

Best tip i learned from experience and from other people failures:

PLAN OUT your studying schedule and stick with it. If you do this, you will know whether you are on track and makes you focus.

If you do Multiple Choice questions…just don't repeat, but read the explanation why it is the answers.

Good luck, be realistic, be focus, be determined, and give up your social life and just study =)
