My best study tip is to start early and take plenty of breaks. I find I am way less stressed by simply not feeling rushed. I also seem to remember things better since I'm not thinking about other things while studying, because once I notice my mind starting to wander that's when I decide it's time to take a break.

I would recommend not becoming stuck with just one study source. Study to learn and understand- not just to memorize. If the source you're using does not make a concept clear to you, try another source. A textbook from a library, ninja notes or discussion pages. There are even some good free videos on YouTube that walk you thru certain concepts.

Best exam tip: Review at the end of each section. At the end of the first section, review that section. At the end of the section, review the first and second. Continue this until all sections are completed. If you're using Becker, the progress tests are great for this. This cuts down on the amount of review time you'll need at the end and helps keep things fresh in your mind!

Study at least 1 hour of material everyday (new and old). This will help in recalling from your memory bank. Supplement your study plan with Ninja audio and Ninja notes. They come in handy when you have a break at work or on the go.

    BEC - 12/13
    FAR - 5/14
    AUD - 8/14
    REG - 2/15
Passed 6 of 6 CLEP Exam

My career advice is during an interview, tell yourself no one knows you better than yourself. That will bring some confidence when they ask the “tell me about yourself”

Also when the interviewer asks “do you have any questions?”; do not say no. Ask the interviewer how they like the job, what the position would be doing. People love talking about themselves. This might leave a better impression because it will show your interest in the job and interviewer.

Writing notes is the best way to really learn the material. You will go through a lot of pens and legal pads but it will be worth it if you havent been able to pass a specific section.

    AUD 59,69,71,73 76
    BEC 79(LC), 80
    FAR 71,59,78 (expires 1/31/14)
    REG 77(LC), 88!!!

    DONE 12/6/13

The best tip I have learned is with certain review courses, you can't always trust the scores you received from taking a practice tests. So instead of doing those and wasting hours of your time, do as many MCQ's as you possibly can until you lose your mind and don't forget to write fact nuggets with questions you got wrong AND questions you got right!

    REG - 2/27/2013 - 78!!!!
    AUD - 5/17/2013 - 72...Retake July 12th - 79!!!!
    BEC - 8/29/2013 - 77!!!!
    FAR - 11/14/2013- 72....Retake February 28th - 80!!! DONE!!!!
