CPA Exam Tip- Invest in paper and rewrite all of your notes multiple times until you are sick of it, then rewrite them again.

Study tip: Remove the temptation of social media/fun websites! Turn off/uninstall what you can and use a social media blocker for everything else.

    Stay healthy!

Don't let studying get in the way of taking care of your body. Take a break to work out. The mental break will be good for your mind (or you can listen to NINJA audio during workouts) and the exercise will keep your body fresh. Eat right, especially on test day. Get protein before the test, it will stick with you longer.

Do the cumulative test at the end of each chapter as a refresher of prior material, and to see which chapters you are weakest on to focus your review on your weak sections.

I am currently studying for Audit and plan to take it in May. Studying during busy season is definitely a challenge but I must say it is 100% manageable. All it takes is some extra planning and self discipline on your part. My advice is to plan your weeks in advance and see when you have the most time to study (if you are balancing work and family life). Find the days when you can stay an hour or two later at the office or come in an hour early. I've gotten the best studying done doing this so far. It's usually nice and quiet at the office then you get to go home and relax, you don't need to worry about setting up shop to study when you know the Bachelor or something else is on 🙂

    GOOD LUCK Fellow Ninjas!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't take the shortest test for granted! Put all your effort into it even though the test might not be for a month or two. Studying your hardest now saves time for the future!

What I find works for me is to allow plenty of time (of course), skim the material to get an idea of what you do and do not recognize (may or may not be a blow to your confidence but you may be pleasantly surprised how many topics you recognize), and then dig in and read every word of the prep materials you are using (I know this takes forever but it works for anyways) and take notes in an outline format allowing space to add more notes to a topic later if you happen to make a second pass at the materials. At this point the material should all be familiar and its time to attack the MCQs and re-write notes. I set a daily goal of MCQs (currently 100 a day) and will increase that goal as I get closer to the test date.

This is what works for me. I hope it is helpful and good luck.
