I have found that rewriting the Ninja notes after watching each video module works well for me. I rewrite them again closer to the test date as well. I am in my 30’s and graduated college a couple years ago, the older I get the harder time I have to remember things.

And, if next time when I walk into a testing center knowing I’m going to get a 65…I will shell out the $35 to push the exam back a couple of weeks.

    AUD (10/14) 62 (2/16) 83
    BEC
    FAR (8/14)71 (1/24/15)77
    REG (5/14) 69

The best advice I can give is to, when you're setting up a study plan, allow yourself days to not study. Studying for weeks on end can get tiring and frustrating, so it's always nice to give yourself a well-deserved break. Good luck to everyone!

My best study tip, is take a practice exam. Especially on FAR, I took it first, and didn't know how the computer exam worked, and screwed up on my time. Time management is a key on that big bad biatch.

One of the things I find helpful as I'm studying for the CPA exam is to take the Multiple Choice questions in the Wiley Test Bank in small chunks. So, if I'm studying for REG, I know there are going to be 30 questions per testlet, I'll work 30 at a time, with 3 or 4 Sims. After doing a number of those, I'll select “questions not see yet” or “answered incorrectly” to focus in on problem areas/topics I'm having trouble with.

Best exam tip I can give is to make sure you are processing. When doing MCQs are you just answering or are you actually understanding the answers. I always write down the answer and the reason it is correct so that I don't just memorize the answers.

I also make sure and take time to exercise daily. This keeps me physically able to keep up with the mental issues.

    REG 75
    BEC 81
    FAR 75
    AUD 82

    I AM DONE!!!!!

My recipe/tip/formula: (I'm telling this recipe out of my experience)

Stick to one section until you see (= or >) of 75 in real exam.

Stick to one chapter until you got 90% in practicing MCQs (try to not memorizing the MCQs)

Taking notes while watching lectures for the first time taking exams. For retakes, ditch the videos but reading your text book is the MUST, taking your own notes and ninja notes will help you surely. (for each chapter)

Rinse and repeat the above points

Try to get up early in the morning OR try to study in nights until 2am. (I am a night owl)

If you are working & family person, please try to be in the study schedule.
