Study Tip: Don't just memorize; understand the content!

I found it work best when you listen to the becker lecture, work tons of MCQs on Wiley test bank, and if you still have time, go over the Ninja Notes. Becker Reviews are expensive, so if your company doesn't reimburse for it, I would suggest you go with Wiley. For MCQs, I like Wiley test bank because it is customize-able. Ninjia Note can reinforce what you have reviewed. And also use the forum! It's a great way to really understand the content by asking and answering questions.

A good study tip that really works for me is rewriting the notes a few times and/or writing the flashcards down on paper over and over until I feel comfortable that I know the information. Writing and repeating really helps me remember the information. I will be ready to sit for my first section soon (REG) and am hopeful this tip pays off for me! Good luck!

Take notes on the MCQ you get wrong or even get right, but have to guess on. Review these notes at least once a week, more is better though. But also writing notes help the information stick in your brain 7 times better than just reading something.

The best piece of advice is time management. That scheduled study time is use to FOCUS on the material versus going through the motions of “studying”. At the end of the day you have to be committed to see results.

Stick to your study plan and don't let yourself get behind schedule! This exam is overwhelming enough without feeling like you're always trying to catch up.

My best study tip is to schedule it just like you would an appointment or other commitment. If it's built in to your schedule this way, it will be easier to stick to. Once you sit down to study, remove all distractions. The more you get out of your study time, the less time you have to devote to studying.

Study Advice: Memorizing formulas, I rewrite them so many times until I have them memorized. Then I only try to have a general understanding of the rest so I can work through concept questions.

Career Advice: Do not be afraid to make changes, especially while young.

Start with a section you feel confident about.

Go through the material you want to learn in one or two sessions and really focus on remembering that material. Then, depending on your schedule and timeline, do multiple choice questions. When you do them, understand why. If you don't understand, reread that whole section! Multiple choice questions should take the longest and where you learn the most. To make it not so boring, I would watch TV and then do a couple during commercials. Something along those lines made studying a lot more bearable for me.

    Good luck!
