Study Tip: Take advantage of the time commuting to work. There is never enough time to study. I use an audio series for my 30 minute commute to work everyday. Ninja has an audio series that I have not tried. I purchased the Yeager series before I found Another 71.

My tip: Read the entire question! Yes, read it! The whole thing. Then, read the right answer, and then go back and read the wrong answers. Understanding why a question is wrong can be just as helpful as understanding why an answer is right.

If you have three kids and your husband works the night shift (like mine does), study for 2-3 hours a night and give yourself a 10-15 minutes break for each hour. On the weekends, study five hours each day (Sat and Sunday), and again, each hour give yourself a 10-15 minute break.

Sit for the exam fresh out of college. Less commitments, more time, more motivation and more knowledge.

My CPA exam study tip would be to set a schedule with goals of what you would like to accomplish with your studying each day and then to give yourself incentive to work hard, attach rewards to each goal. It doesn't have to be big. It could be a 30 min Netflix session or a cupcake. Staying motivated was the most challenging thing, but having short term goals like this can help you keep moving forward.

Ditch Lecture Videos if you know you aren't even paying attention to them. They will be wasting your time. Also, invest in Ninja Audio if you are a commuter.
