My study tip: Do as many MCQs as possible! I like to do them in blocks of 24 or 30, depending on the section you're studying for. This way you also practice your timing and endurance so you're ready for exam day!

    BEC - 84
    AUD - 95
    REG - 86
    FAR - 7/11/14

The best thing that works for me is to write down all MCQs that I get incorrect so that next time I come across a similar question, I remember the correct answer 🙂

I came here to post a tip, but I've been reading all the ones already posted, too — they're so good! 🙂 Anyway, my best career tip would be to always have a positive attitude plus always being polite. When it comes down to it, people that you work with are going to remember you for mistakes you've made and what type of person you are. It's hard to remember someone based on all the good they do (I hate to say it, but people simply do not focus enough on the GOOD). Life is hard and it is especially hard to be positive and polite when you're having down days, but when you are consistent about it, people will remember how wonderful it was to work with such a happy personality. (So it's been my experience) 🙂 Hiya!

My best study tip is to stay organized. Use a notebook to avoid having loose papers everywhere. Label everything. Flag topics you need to go back to. Keep your study materials out of reach of little people and fury creatures. Keep a binder for notes with a pencil case (filled with pens, pencils, hilighters, erasers etc.) attached to it.

My best tip for studying is follow the NINJA guidelines and write and re-write your notes. Also, give yourself about 2 weeks between your practice test and exam to go back and focus on the areas you are struggling in.

Exam Tip: Study every free minute you have and be honest with the amount of time you're studying. Week 1 of studying is just as important as the week before you sit for the exam. Also get rid of all distractions when you're studying, internet, music, tv and cell phone.

Before tax season starts I plan 12 weeks of meals, cook and freeze them for easy dinner preparation. It only takes about 5 hours on 3 Saturdays. When working long days it is nice not to have to think about dinner. My kids help by putting a casserole in the oven or adding ingredients to a crock pot so that when I get home dinner is essentially ready to eat. Really helps on nights with other activities or studying to do!
