To ensure the information stick, always listen to the audios!! I listen to the audios while working, write notes and in night, i do a lot of MCQ for 2 hours during weekdays. In weekends i study 6 hours daily and I split it in 3 hours in the morning and three hours in the nights!!! And also have my NINJA flashcard in my Iphone!!! Also stick to your schedule!!!!!

My life tip is to prioritize! Figure out what is most important (career, personal life, etc), and make the decisions necessary to make those areas of your life the best.

The best advice would be to make a plan and stick with it. If something comes up, still just study or questions for at least 30 minutes to an hour.

Make sure to do as many MCQs as possible and set time limits for studying. Section your studies like you would a class, rather than randomly reviewing notes. You can keep up with your time invested and with how long it'll take you to finish the sections/MCQ this way.

Repetition and good notes are the key!!

The most crucial tip for studying for the exam is to read for understanding not just memorization. Then when going through MCQ's read ALL explanations even those you get correct. Lastly, go over NEW questions to keep your brain fresh. The night before relax and don't press your brain it will surprise you!

I was in a hurry to pass the cpa exam and sat for BEC, AUD, and FAR in October and November. I made a study schedule/plan and stuck with it. I read the wiley books, making notes as I went. Since the version I was using didnt include a glossary, I made my own using the items listed in the index (very tedious and time consuming but I never questioned any vocabulary/terms while sitting for the exam). I also copied ninja notes and listed to ninja audio everywhere I couldn't be reading. Lastly, I tested myself in the wiley test bank. I was successful on all three tests the first time. Now I just need to get through REG.

My best advice is you need to find the motivation to study, to get it done!

This is how I push myself, I am a valet attendant, I see people driving fancy cars to come to the restaurant every single day. I ask myself, why it can't be me? I took my son to a basketball game, we were sitting on the upper level like really far away, my son asked me “why cant we sit closer?” He is five, I told him “one day, we will be able to sit on the courtside.” this is my promise to him, to myself, I want to keep it.

Every single day, I tell myself “I want a BMW and a courtside ticket”.

Lots of posts in under an hour 🙂

For me the best tip was to take breaks when needed. The more stressed I was, the worse I preformed. Its strange since in general I preform well under pressure, and its true in “crunch” time (2 weeks into the test) I do great. But in terms of the daily grind, take 2-5 minute breaks and stretch and that really helps the material set in.

    REG- (1) 76
    FAR- (2) 64, (5)74, (7)83 (Over achiever!)
    AUD- (3) 70, (4) 75
    BEC- (6) 75

My best advice would be to do non-stop MCQ!
