The best tip to find a study group and work together to come up with tips and tricks. For Reg, you should try to come up with more Mnemonics than what's provided by the book.

My best study tip- set a plan of what you need to get done in a day and then to stick to that plan.

My favorite rule that I learned from a former boss: “be organized. If you're organized, you've won half the battle in accounting industry (or in your daily life)”. 🙂

    AUD - Passed! Expiring Sept 30, 2014
    BEC - 71, 71, must pass by 3rd Q
REG - Failed badly first time.., must pass by 3rd Q
    FAR - Aug 31, 2014, must pass by 3rd Q

Stay the course, stay disciplined, keep your goal in sight. It's about how much you truly want the license. No matter how many times you fail, you review what you did wrong and improve on it. Focus on the weaker areas, don't discount the simulations. Keep working at each section until you succeed, perseverance will pay off.

    BEC - Passed
    REG - Passed
    AUD - Passed
    FAR - May 2014

My study tip- Stay committed!!! Scheduling breaks are very important but be careful about scheduling a week break in the middle of studying. If you do, make sure you sue Jeff's study planner and know what you need to work on. Set goals!

My best career advice: Prepare for an interview like you prepare for an exam. Know everything about the company you possibly can. Look for questions that are generally asked at interviews(search on online) and prepare answers to those questions. Have 3 examples for each scenario. In my experience the behavioral questions are a must. Most accounting firms ask those questions. Master the STAR technique. Situation, Task, Action and Result!

To ensure the information stick, always listen to the audios!! I listen to the audios while working, write notes and in night, i do a lot of MCQ for 2 hours during weekdays. In weekends i study 6 hours daily and I split it in 3 hours in the morning and three hours in the nights!!! And also have my NINJA flashcard in my Iphone!!! Also stick to your schedule!!!!!
