    My study tip is………

MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ, MCQ…

The more MCQ you do the better.

Additionally, make sure you schedule yourself for the part of the day when you are at your best. If you aren't a morning person, don't take an 8 am exam.

=o) happy studying, and may the odds be ever in your favor.

My best career advice is to always have an end goal and always work towards it. If you want to be a plant controller don't take a tax accounting position because it will likely not get you to the ultimate goal of plant controller.

My study tip is be true to yourself on how much study time you need to pass the exam.

Don't think you can just watch the video's do a bunch of questions and you are sit the exam. You need to learn the material. Understand the concepts and be able to apply it to what ever question is thrown at you. Practice the questions at least twice before you go sit the exam.

    CA Candidate. 05/27/2014 ~ 786/110
    I am done!!

My study tip is to stick with one section of the exam until it is passed, when you are jumping from section to section you can get easily confused..which I have done. I stuck with AUD and when I did that I passed it. It aslo gave me the motiviation to keep going and work on the next section. Once section at a time allowed me to soak in more information so if I missed it by a few points and had to retake it, it was fresh in mind to start studying for again.

    AUD - Passed - 82 (10/1/13), Expires 4/1/2015 (57,62,64)
    BEC - Passed - 77 (7/14/14) (53,67,70,74) Half way to CPA!!!!
    REG - Passed - 81 (8/23/14) (68) 3 down 1 to go!!
    FAR - Passed - 75 (11/11/14) I'm DONE!!!!!

I'm currently studying AUD, I passed REG and BEC. My best advice will be retaking the note until you really understand and memorize, and most important is keep practicing the questions specifically the one you did wrong. Starred the questions you did wrong, and redo it and make sure you truly understand. The week before the exam is most critical time to refresh everything you studied. Good luck all!

The CPA exam has been a journey for me and I'm pretty certain it has been for everybody who views this blog forum. The best tip I can give as of now is do multiple choice questions until you throw up, but be sure to actually understand why you are getting the question right or wrong. Career tip: whether it's public or private accounting, don't stay in a place you aren't happy at. Fortunately, we are currently in a time where there are a lot of options out there!

    Thanks Jeff!

Review not only the MCs you got wrong but also the ones you answered correctly- ensure you understand why it was the correct choice.
