The best advice I can give is you have to focus and work hard without distractions while studying, however you do need to take a break every now and again. Also, don't get frustrated while doing practice tests, use them as learning tools don't worry about how you score on them just learn from them. Good Luck!

I took the Exam in order of what I expected the difficulty to be: FAR, REG, BEC then AUD. I think this was an effective way to tackle the exam because it makes you pass the harder sections first and when you start getting burned out on studying, it's easier to see the “light at the end of the tunnel.”

whatever works for me is to practice the do as many as Multiple choice questions you can. you can feel the exam. it may not be the same, but basically the concept is the same. for the simulation, just try to finish it even you guess it, dont ever leave it blank

Exam Tip for Audit: Use your favorite review book for as long as you need, but two weeks prior to exam date should be devoted to the Wiley Test Bank. The wording tricks of exam day are scattered throughout the Test Bank questions along with many other key points that will make your 4 hour test more “enjoyable.”

I think the most important thing to do when studying is to take frequent breaks. I find that studying for 50 on and 10 off is the most efficient. Another thing is to obviously take advantage of all of the NINJA Notes, Flashcards, and Audio if you have access to them because they are more than helpful. Wish everyone the best of luck!

A tip that I've given several friends is to block out a week for each chapter of the exam, then 2 weeks for full review. Monday through Friday should be used to watch all the videos, listen to the audio, and answer the corresponding multiple choice questions; Saturday should be used to re-do (as many as you prefer) all of the multiple choice questions from that chapter; and Sunday should be used as a comprehensive review of all of the chapters leading up to that present time. I typically shot for 100 to 150 multiple choice questions on Sundays. So on week 1, that was basically redoing all of the chapter's multiple choice questions… while week 5 would have about 20-25 questions per chapter of review. Hope this helps!

Interview Tip: Be sure you study the company and position you are interviewing for. Be prepared to answer the obvious questions but also try to anticipate some not so obvious ones. Also, go to the interview with some well though out questions to ask the interviewer about the position or the Company. Avoid questions regarding compensation, vacation, employee benefits, etc. These are red flag questions that employers don't like to answer at the interview. This shows that the candidate is primarily interested in benefits vs. career and company.

Study Tip: Get plenty of rest. Make a schedule and stick to it. Don't be afraid of ticking people off for ditching plans and HYDRATE!!! Don't eat junk food or drink too much coffee. Coffee can affect the way you sleep and you need to sleep!

    REG – 85

My best study tip would be to give yourself breaks from time to time. I find when I get to a point where I can't seem to grasp the concept after hours of studying, it's time to give myself a break. You will waste more time and be less productive this way. It's better to let yourself take a break and come back to the topic. Also, if you are like me and can get overwhelmed easily, take a breather and remind yourself you will get through this! You do not have time to dwell or panic, it's all about keeping it moving and knowing you will make it in the end.

    FAR - 89 02/27/14
    REG - 88 04/30/14
    AUD - 90 7/3/14
    BEC - 87 8/30/14 DONE!
