I'm a heavy procrastinator and hate studying… So my study tip is to block out intervals to study with realistic goals and give yourself small rewards. For instance, say you're going to go through X multiple choice questions that day and read through 1 chapter. Split it up into digestible portions for each hour and give yourself 30 min between each session to catch up on a show, eat a snack, social media, etc if you meet your goal!

Study Tip: Keep trying even if you fail. Failure is an event, not a person.

I make a lot of pictures of formulas and other things that I am struggling with, then post them where you will see them everyday.

My biggest study tip to offer is do as many progress tests as possible during your review week(s). It helped me better learn the material AND some of the questions were even on the exam itself, so they were easy points!

My tip as a current CPA student: read over your notes ad nauseum. There are ALWAYS little things you will catch or pick up on, and maybe that topic that didn't make 100% sense to you yesterday will suddenly click today.

My best strategy is to review all the questions I answered incorrectly and understand WHY the answer I chose was incorrect.

Make sure to write down the calculations, not just do them in your head, then you can go over it again and figure out which step was wrong.

    FAR August 2013 - 90
    AUD October 2013 - 86
    BEC March 2014 - 89
    REG - May 2014 - 81
    Ethics - 98

    I am done!

My best tip would be to sleep and stay calm the day of the exam. If my exam is scheduled for the afternoon, I study some in the morning then usually nap/relax for an hour or so before I leave. I find it really helps me stay calm and NOT over-analyze questions when I actually take the test. Hope this helps!! 🙂

    My best study tip:

Break up the location as you will come so bored with sitting at home all the time, that home will no longer be a “friendly” place 🙂 It helps me if I go to coffee shops, libraries, work conference rooms, etc…

    REG: 65, 77*
    AUD: Fail, 64, 71
    BEC: 72, 74, 81
