My best tip would be to only check your score once you are mentally prepared for whatever result you get. Too many people expect something close to perfection then burn out seeing a failing score.

Establish a “study zone” where you are comfortable and free from distractions. Also remember to take short breaks periodically.

The best tip I can give is review the AICPA questions thoroughly. During your last week try to google even previous years AICPA questions. Questions in the exam are pretty similar to those questions. It will be a great morale booster if you review all those questions. Make sure you know the logical reasoning behind every question that helps a lot.

My best advice is to work your tail off, but don't overdo it. Take time for yourself and your family from time to time. If you work hard enough, you should have no problem passing!

    AUD - 76
    BEC - 75
    REG - 71, 81
    FAR - 81

    * Highly recommend Gleim Sim Wizard for REG and FAR (only $99 per section)

Write notes. Rewrite notes. Do multiple choice in study mode, not “test” mode. NINJA audio in the car, gym, shower, EVERYWHERE 🙂

Someone above said don't change your schedule but that is impossible. You HAVE to change your schedule for a short period of time. If you live & breathe CPA review, you will be a done a lot faster and move on with your life.

    AUD - AUGUST 2013 - 94
    FAR - OCT 2013 95
    BEC - DEC (extended window) 2013 - 87
    REG - FEB 2014 - awaiting score

Believe you can do it! TAKE NOTES!! A lot of notes! It will help you remember. Also make use of your commute time. I always listen to audio notes to and from work or whenever i get a chance instead of listening to music.

One of the best study tips I have learned over the years, during studying, raise your sense of focus and awareness and continually improve on your biggest weaknesses that are most represented on the test. For example, if I have multiple sub-sections that are weaknesses within a section, I will review to see which are most represented on the exam (16%, 12%, etc.) and rinse and repeat until all score above 85.
