I am new to the website… but have been studying for the CPA for around 3-4 years on and off… one thing I can tell you is… do not take breaks when trying to pass the CPA exam… focus focus and focus your way through… I haven't passed any exams yet.. but am starting to trying to take it more seriously…the CPA is as hard as anything I've done in my life and yes that even means harder than losing 100lbs as I have done.

My #1 tip for CPA exam is to focus. What I mean by is that instead of studying in random days & times, you need to set a permanent fixed schedule for studying and follow it no matter what happens in your life!

When taking MC, make notes whenever you get a wrong answer. Re-read those notes over and over so that you learn the information and don't forget if you work chapter by chapter.

My best motivational advise for the CPA exam and career is to create an email with those initials right next to you name; for example, johnsmithcpa@mail.com. Every time you use that email, it will remind you of your ultimate goal of being a CPA.

My study tip is to create an intense plan of MCQ everyday, read chapters and take notes from your review course, get ninja notes if you can and read over them and your own notes at least once a week. Allow yourself enough time to actually learn the material versus rushing through. Between working and this exam COFFEE is a great factor to add into the equation! Always stick to your plan!
