My tip is that I would find that it is always more beneficial to study when I am not tired. Coffe, energy drink, excercise (whatever gets you up and going), are all your best friend. My favorite time to study is the morning before work, especially now during my busy season. Whatever makes sense for you personally, you need to make it happen. I struggled with time management for a long time and hoping to have figured it out. Clear head and energy have equalled success for me! Good luck all!

I use MDS CPA review and they suggest completing ALL the HW assignments and taking the practice tests. That is a key. Going through all the HW questions will give you a lot of practice on taking the multiple choice questions. Practice makes one better, no way to go around it.

Don't take an exam during busy season. Worst decision ever! Trying to study is next to impossible. Try to get all your exams out of the way as soon as possible and take the fast pass if you have the opportunity.

My best tip is to get into a federal position as an accountant as soon as possible, this way you could get up to the $100k per year working 40 hour weeks and free weekends for 30 years. lol

Here's my tip!

Take your time, and fully grasp the topics as you're studying. Often people become focused on knocking out as much material (volume) as they can, but when asked a question about lecture 1 they can't answer it. Slow down, focus, and understand the material before moving on!

The best CPA exam tip is to never give up.It is designed to be very hard. However,once you passed it you will have a sense of a great accomplishment. I am half way through with AUD and REG already passed and it's very hard to find time and mental strength to pass the other 2.
