My tip is to keep on going until you're done! NEVER give up! No matter how many sections you fail, change your approach and schedule the exam again. The longer you wait, the more complicated life gets (marriage, babies, etc) and the more responsibility you will have at work.

If you fail a test, find what you did well in. Review those parts again but take the extra time on what you had issues with. Stay focused, Stay Strong, Keep Going!! 2 down, 2 to go

My best study tip is to take advantage of the time off you have (weekends, nights, whatever) and lock yourself in a quiet room such as an office, bedroom, library. For me, I had to actually disconnect my wifi since I would always take “breaks” to surf the net. So disconnect your wifi, tell people not to bother you, turn on your study materials and get it over with! It's not as bad as you think 🙂

    Exam tip-

Become a member of another71.com and get the ninja notes/audio, use them repeatedly to supplement your other study materials and follow a schedule so you dont get behind. It is a long drawn out battle and time management is very crucial to passing the cpa exam, as it is also crucial in the field of accounting.

Never give up, never give in…

    sleep, eat, study, repeat….

My best tip would be to do multiple choice questions until you feel like you have memorized them.

Also, get the Ninja Audio and listen to it whenever possible…in the car, on the plane, at the gym, while going to sleep 🙂

One tip would be to break down the book into section to complete within a certain amount of weeks and keep a schedule of the amount of hours you've done on each section. It sounds simple but a plan helps you not fall behind.

test takers, you need to know that you can review your material during the “break”. they won't allow you to look at the notes during the test.

When I take my first section, I have one thing that I couldn't remember and I need to check my note. I used my test time and take a break, but they won't let you look at your note even though you finish that section. So don't waste the time to take the break if you don't absolutely need anything.
