Study tip would be to set realistic goals, do as many MCQs as possible and take breaks and do something fun.

Best CPA strategy for me (AUD-91, FAR-86, REG-77, BEC- studying) is to learn the material and then I purcahsed the BEcker Final Review which I used as an abbreviated review of the material. I also use their mnemonics and I make up my own since I think that is the best way to get alot of information in your head.

What I do is – Make a weekly schedule and try to stick to it as far as possible and i always keep a couple of hours every week to revise or go through the modules that i have already completed. I do make a point to make hand written notes, it always helps during exams.

My advice for a study tip is to take notes as you go along – and then re-write those notes. That helped me a lot to remember the material. Plus having all the support through the another71 website!

My formula for success is to:

    1) Be confident. You are taking the CPA for a reason. You are smart and made it through some sort of difficult educational curriculum. This is just another test that you can pass!

    2) Get in a routine that you are comfortable with. The more focused you are on becoming a metronome (wake up, work, eat, study, sleep repeat), the better your study habits will become and you will retain more information.

    3) Don't look for excuses of why you can't study today, or why you won't pass. If you settle for that, you are behind the 8-ball!

    Good luck my CPA friends!

    F - 89 8/13
    A - 83 12/13
    B - 87 1/14
    R - 82 4/14

My study tip is to do a lot of multiple choice questions right after your lecture.

Everybody works in their own way and it's really about finding out what happens for you.

Put on some music, go to a quiet coffee shop where you'll likely not be distracted and start watching your lectures. Re-write the notes whether it's from ninja notes or the textbook and read them over.

The most crucial part is still MC.. Go back and redo the questions you've gotten wrong, not just memorize them.

Never study on an empty stomach!

My tip is to stay focused while studying, Here is always quality vs quantity of the study time. Rewrite the notes, redo MCQ and review all notes the day before the exam.

The best advice that I can give is to be determined that you will pass. If you are determined then you will plan your studying out, you will force yourself to study on days that you don't want to, and you will NOT give up! Once you pass your first test, you will feel more confident and determined than ever!
