“Do What the Ninja CPA Review tells you to do”

If you do not know what the Ninja says get the “CPA Exam Survival Guide” by the Ninja Eliot himself.

TIP “Please get your CPA as soon as possible. If you hold a BBA+CPA your chances of getting hired are higher than when you just have an “MBA without the CPA”.

    I am serious about this.

My credentials so far are: BBA, MBA, PRM, as you can see the CPA is missing.

It's a good idea to give yourself one and a half to two weeks of review time before heading in to take an exam. That's the time when you can wrap everything up and memorize those little tricks that your brain used to understand a topic. I am half way done with my journey but I am on a two month break for busy season even though I really just want to keep going!

I just finished up my last section of the exam. A huge tip I would suggest is to follow A71. A lot of the issues you might be having on the exam is covered by most of the forum posts. In addition, you gotta use the ninja audio and notes whenever you have a chance. Keep on reviewing!

Take a break and exercise. Go outside and get some fresh air. Listen to loud music. Dance and enjoy life. Do this every 30 minutes for ten minutes. Then go back and kick butt at studying.

I found it helpful to write down the most important mnemonics on paper before the start of the exam.

Adding variety to studying worked for me. I combined Yaeger video lectures and the Wiley test bank with Ninja notes, flashcards, and audio. If I wasn't in the mood for one of the options, I would move on to another. This variety provided a way to keep from getting bored, and I had options that could be used anywhere I had time for a little extra studying.

My study tip is make your notes into flash cards instead of putting them in a note book. Makes it easier to review them instead of sitting and reading another book. And don't get discouraged no matter how many times you fail! It only sucks for a little bit!

Since my Valentine is studying for the CPA exam, my helpful tip is to be super supportive and encouraging while your significant other takes the exam. The exam will consume them and all their time, and you have to be understanding 🙂
