Interview etiquette- naming other firms

    Is it OK to name the other firms I’m Interviewing with? Or the ones that rejected me?

    I would say only if they ask… you don't want to make it seem like your throwing it in their face. I know from experience. I interviewed some places and brought it up and I could see right away that I rub some folks the wrong way. I guess it seems like your already sticking it to them with the negotiations.

    The only way I'd bring up other interviews is if I'm asked, or if another firm has presented me with an offer and I'm waiting to hear back from one. The latter would only be to get the firm to speed up.

    I used an interview question to point out that I had other things going (and got the interviewer to talk about themselves lol)

    “When you were in my position and trying to decide amongst all the firms, why did you choose FirmX , and what has kept you here?”
