I want to go up to my family’s cabin for two or three weeks and study. I will have my MacBook Pro and I want to have access to my online Becker study materials. The cabin does not have cable internet or wireless but my moms sell phone works up there. Any ideas for cheap wireless internet options that can be paid by usage?

I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:

"Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"

You can download Becker to your desktop and can use it offline. You just won't be able to download any updates.

    BEC - PASS
    FAR - PASS
    Audit - PASS
    REG - PASS

I have the verizon hotspot. I have 10gb a month. I don't use the entire 10 every month but I come close especially when I travel. It cost 50 per month added to my phone service and I enjoy it . I don't have to go around trying to mooch off hotspots. You can get the prepaid for I think $65.00 I don't know how many gb's you'll get. My children and I use it on the road. But if you are going to watch movies and stuff, the data goes very quickly. I barely use any while studying on the road.(simply studying doesn't require much data). I hate it that they don't have unlimited connection anymore. I should have been grandfathered in because I had it before they changed to the shared data but it was so aggrevating arguing with them (verizon reps). But I found I don't use my entire 10gb anyway. It's also secured so you don't have to worry about logging in to a public place where someone else can tap into your internet or computer.

If all else fails, get out the old book, pen, paper and calculator.

I have an old unlimited data Verizon plan and it also hotspots, with employer discount is costs me $24 per month 😀

You might see if anyone's phone has a hotspot function, basically it turns your into a router that your computer connects to–although if you plan to pull videos the usage could be kinda high. If someone can supply the internet, might want to periodically check the usage to makes sure its not drinking too much data

(When I take the commuter bus, I've sucked down 20GB in a month on Netflix hahaha)

What I did when I did not have access to the internet was just use the offline Becker materials, and then when I had internet access again, Becker would sync my work up. You of course have to download the Becker materials onto your desktop beforehand.

    REG 75
    FAR 88
    AUDIT 82
    BEC 74, 12/4/2013 84 Thank You Lord Jesus !!!
