Hi,
I spent 2 years as an external auditor for Deloitte. I started with them as a fresh graduate.
I think I will finish all sections of the CPA exam by the end of next year.
I got a good internal audit job offer at a big well known corporation where I will start as a junior internal auditor.
The offer is really good.
I need your advice guys. Should I go for it?
I heard that if I stay at Deloitte for 3 years more I will be able to have a finance manager job or similar in the industry.
But I think that being an auditor is much better than doing the accounts each cycle.
However, I heard that being an internal auditor is a dead end where you check internal controls for your whole career and can’t switch back to accounts easily in the future.
Please help.
