Interesting/Motivational Books?

Bear with me here. I’ll get to the accounting question in the second paragraph.

Once upon a time I wanted to learn genetics, but I couldn’t stand learning from textbooks. And, then, I happened upon a book by Dr Andrew Weil called “Spontaneous Healing”, where – in the midst of his narrative – he enters into a discussion of genetics that completely brought an understanding of genetics all together. I wouldn’t say it produced a geneticist, but it certainly laid a foundation better than any textbook I’d ever read.

So what does this have to do with accounting?

Well, I was just wondering if anyone had any favorite accounting books out there, which might get away from the textbook feel and provide for some interesting and edifying reading as per accounting and the CPA Exam?

    Thanks,

    wm

I highly recommend conspiracy of fools. Reads like a novel, but provides great insight on Enron.
