I have just finished my initial application and my official transcripts are in route.

I spent 1 semester in graduate school a few years after my degree at a university I did not get my undergraduate from. My transcript from there (which I got an extra copy of and am just seeing) shows that I took 1 physics class as an undergraduate 1.5 years before I say I even went to the school. I contacted the university and they researched and determined that I was the person that attended the class and the transcript is correct.

This is NOT true as I am 100% sure I did not take that class. The grade is an A so it doesn’t hurt me in anyway but it is wrong.

Do I need to worry about this since the mistake is on the university and not me? I did my part in notifying the university even though their conclusion is completely wrong.

I have 150 hours regardless so that is not a factor. I just don’t want to delay my application because of 1 class.

    FAR - 08/30/15 - 90
    AUD - 11/12/15 - 92
    REG - 01/19/16 - 82
    BEC - 02/29/16 - 83

Passed all on 1st attempt using GLEIM (full program) and NINJA (MCQ only)!!!

In theory your app for NTS should not be delayed but I would still work with the university or college to fix the issue

    FAR: 63, 55, 62
    REG: 65, 77*
    AUD: Fail, 64, 71
    BEC: 72, 74, 81

I don't see that this would get you in trouble, but you may want to submit a letter to the state board notifying them of the error so that they don't later infer that you submitted fraudulent documents with intent to deceive or anything like that. If the college messed up and won't change it, then there's nothing you can do to change the transcript, but you can still notify the board or anyone else you give transcripts to so that it's clear you're doing your best to be honest. This step probably isn't necessary, but would fully keep your name clean.

As for the class, though, I would suggest continuing to see if you can convince them that you didn't take the class. Maybe ask how it was paid and if it comes back that it was with loans ask for proof of your acceptance of the loans, or if it comes back that it was with a check see if they can give you the check number and you can reference your banking records, etc. Depending on how long ago this class was supposedly taken, you may be within their required document retention so they'd need to have copies of various documents with your signature or other identifying information on them.
