I know nobody on here is an attorney but I’m really scared about an email I received. I sold various Becker items on Ebay throughout the year. Earlier today I received an email directly from this 3rd party site. It listed my name, address, and listing #’s of Ebay. It stated I violated Becker copyright/infringement rights by selling these items. They want me to fill out this form listing where I got these items from, how much I received from the sales, and contact info of the persons/companies that sold them to me and also include a check for XX amount of dollars for restitution. It is a valid email and the website is legit. I contact eBay they have told me to take this seriously. The ironic thing is that I purchased them from Ebay and Amazon. And I resold them and now they are coming after me! I’m really worried they stated if I don’t respond they will take legal action. I’m thinking of going to get a consultation from an attorney. Anybody go through a similar thing or have advice? please say so!
