My Story

I have known since high school that I wanted to be a CPA, but after graduating from undergraduate I started working right away. I had to go back to get my masters while working full time, then after that I had to get two other certifications. I always made an excuse to wait to take the CPA Exam. I will do it after I graduate, because I am so busy. Then it was I would start it after my first certification, then my next. Then I told myself I needed a break, but then cam the news that we were having our first child. That week I ordered my material and started. I studied every spare second, until after midnight a lot of nights, on vacation, etc. I didn’t see my wife all spring and summer and most of Fall. I failed all of the test once except for Auditing. It was devastating. But do to the grace of God I passed, two days before the due date.

My Material

I used CPAexcel for FAR the first time and AUD. I then used only Ninja Notes on the second take and for REG and BEC….

My Advice

First off never give up…I was not use to failing but I did three times. Use the failing as motivation.

Next, do not take any part lightly…They are all hard in their own way.

One of the best advices I can give you is to get Ninja Notes/Audio. I cannot speak highly enough of them. Jeff did an amazing job weeding out what you need to study. I will continue to recommend it to every CPA candidate I know…Again Thank You So much……

Last piece of advice that worked for me is to pray and keep God first….

****What is one Golden Rule for Passing the Exam? 1) Read the question properly. and 2) Leave yourself enough time to answer all of the....
****Success seems to be connected with action. Successful people keep moving. They makes mistakes, but they don't quit.
****Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.
