Just soak up the discipline and get up. I have a 2-year old at home, and have to start getting her ready for school (daycare) by 5 30 am, so I wake up at 3 – 3:05 am and get started. I don't get home until between 7 30 – 8 pm, which may or may not give me a couple of minutes to see her, have dinner with my wife, and get everything prepped and finishing errands/chores for the next day to start it all over. By the time my head hits the pillow it's probably close to 10: 30 so I usually catch 4.5 hours per night.
Like Jeff said, my coffee pot is pre-filled with coffee (insanely strong) so I just hit the on button, take my shower and hit the books. I sort of warmed up to the process because I was completing my 150-credit requirement before I started the exam, and would wake up at 5, which turned into 4 30, which turned into 4, which slowly now turned into 3. Seems to be my sweet spot, we'll see. Once the alarm goes off, just get up and go, that's it. After enough days, there's only so much motivation to do it so you kind of just have to robot through it.
