Hi everyone, quick career-related question for you guys. I graduated in May 2015 from a good business school with a 3.2 GPA. I sat for all four exams this summer and passed BEC/AUD, but got 71’s on both REG and FAR… the name of this website applies perfectly. I just retook REG and am sitting for FAR on 11/24. As an undergrad I interned for EY, received a FT offer, but unfortunately had the offer pulled after failing Intermediate 2.

I have not applied for any jobs since graduation and as of now I am moving forward with the following line of thought: Once I pass the CPA I will apply for 50+ jobs in 5-10 cities and contact 10-20 recruiters/headhunters, so I am bound to find a good opportunity. Is this line of thinking reasonable and does passing the CPA carry as much weight as I think it does?
