Hi everyone! Hope the studying is going well. Just wanted to ask a quick question.
I was referred by someone to help a guy that’s getting his undergraduate degree in accounting. He said he will graduate in December so obviously needs to the class to graduate (this makes me assume it’s advanced accounting or a second level intermediate financial level, but I will ask.. just mentioning what I know so far).
As for myself.. I’m about to graduate with my Master of Professional Accountancy degree (Specialization in taxation) in 3 weeks. I took REG today (have passed all three other parts so far).
My question is: what should I charge per hour to tutor? I don’t want to short myself but I also don’t want to be unreasonable. Any suggestions will be helpful!
It’s also worth noting.. I have tutored before so I know how it works. I tutored high school kids in math and charged $10 per hour (I was a freshman in undergrad) and then I was the accounting tutor at my undergrad for 3 years (sophomore through senior). I was paid around $10 per hour from the undergrad.
Thanks for all your help!
