1 cup a day unless I'm dragging and then I'll knock back a redbull. I won't let myself have a redbull anywhere near CPA exam time because 1. I don't want to chance affecting my sleep and 2. I don't want to have any kind of “crash.”

LOL!!!! I'm with Jeff on this one. A pot is made at 8:00, 8:30, 10:00, 1:00, and 3:00. I have a cup during breakfast, travel mug on the way, and fill the travel mug at 8:30, 10:00, 1:00, and 3:00. That will total around 15 cups a day during tax season. :-])

If I don't have a coffee cup in my hand at all times my husband actually asks me what's wrong. The only time that I don't drink coffee is when I sit down to eat, then it's water to try and hydrate again. I finish my last cup of coffee as I am going to bed….and it doesn't impact my sleep one bit. I home brew most of the time (I work from home) so it's cheap for the most part.

I don't drink coffee since I don't like the taste, but I do take caffeine pills. Each pill has 100mg.

The amount I take in a day depends on how “heavy” the day is, but I rarely take more than 3 throughout a day.
