I get 13 days and i feel like i use most of mine going to the doctor or being sick. Just curious because looks like this year i wont get a vacation.

I get like 9.33 hrs of vacation leave and 8 hrs of sick leave per month. 40 hrs of CPA exam time too. Trying to save up as much as I can, being I started 7 months ago.

I get 14 days of sick and 20 days of vacation. I can accrue a crazy amount of sick but I get paid out for it if I leave. My vacation maxes out at the 20 days, use it or lose it. We also have 16 paid holidays and they let me take my exams without using my vacation. Unfortunately, my job still has to get done… Darn it! So I'm just about at my max for vacation right now. I'm planning on taking Friday off, but I already know I'm going to have work to do. Lovely.

My company gives 3 weeks to most employees (at a starting level), and sick days are kind of just an unwritten rule not to abuse them. Anything 3 days or longer requires a doctor note.

Gatorbates what happens if you have to have surgery ..or you are sick can you just bring a note from doctor ? I am having hard time believing if you take 7 sick days they write you up even if you have doctors note.

I bank my PTO from tax season so along with normal vacation I end up with over 8 weeks (over 40 days, not including holidays)
