How many times do you look your passing score?

Every time I have passed an exam I have probably refreshed or gone back to the page at least 15 to 20 times over the course of a week. I just can’t get over how great that one word “pass” looks. I also need to re-confirm that it’s really there because I have yet to walk out of an exam with a ton of confidence that I passed.

Does anyone else obsessively check their passing score? I passed BEC 5 days ago and just went back one more time for fun. Nothing is more sweet than that “Pass” on the screen!

Am I alone or do you do this as well???

    FAR - 2012 - PASSED (YAEGER)

    REG - 2013 - PASSED (YAEGER + NINJA NOTES + NINJA AUDIO)

Probably 20 times a day, LOL

I even went as far as to save a screen shot and email it to myself so I could pull it up on my phone whenever I got the urge.

Before I get the score, probably 6 times. In CA, its usually pretty certain it will be out by 6 a.m. the day after most states.

Afterwards, probably 6 times…and now. Haha! And I look at the score report like it even matters.

    B 71 - 79 EXPIRED
    A 69 - 75 EXPIRED
    R 65 - 48 - 45
    F 56 - 61 - 65 - 64

Becker, Wiley Test Bank, Wiley Text and Ninja Notes

Still need 30 more credits, in basket weaving (gotta love new CA requirements)

I have a recurring nightmare that my final score was somehow lost in the computer system–someone restored an old backup file.

So I kept all my score notification emails and screen printed the score site pages.

    😀

I check it a lot too and throw a screen shot on my phone so if I'm getting down about studying I can look at it and get motivated. I also have to look at it the morning after the release to make sure I wasn't dreaming haha.

    A - 10/28/12 - Passed!!!
    B - 11/20/12 - Passed!!!
    F - 11/12/13 - Passed!!!
    R - 02/01/13 - Passed!!!

    Work Experience - Done!
    Ethics Exam - Boom! Done!

On the day of score release I check it at least 5 times just to make sure. Then a day or two later when I get the email, I print it out and hang it on the fridge. *shame*

    REG- 53, 91
    BEC- 88
    FAR- 62, 85
    AUD- 85

    Ethics- 93

I have a folder on my personal laptop where I save all my score reports. I even save the NASBA screens as PDFs. A bit excessive, but very typical of accountants to over-document the crap out of something.

For those of you checking scores over and over when you have more sections left, wait until you have passed all 4 and then count how many times you go back to make sure you are really done and have no more exams. I probably rechecked all the scores at least 10 times.

I needed this post as a reminder to go look at my passing score. I said I would keep it in plain site as motivation to work towards passing the other 3 exams but I haven't looked at my score in a while. Time to go pull out the score report (can't view it online).

@supercharge funny. That's a problem I would love to have.

Not as many times as I've looked at my 74 wishing it to a 75.

    FAR - PASSED
    BEC - PASSED
    AUD - PASSED
    REG - 74

After each passing score, I would take the next week to look at it a few times/day. I'm with you, I just couldn't believe I would pass a score and then I would look at it more just to make sure it's real. LOL.

    FAR: 87
    AUD: 86
    BEC: 86
    REG: 84! Officially Done!

You know it's bad when you're on your 3rd call to your state board to verify that there wasn't an error in the grading when you receive a 74. The conversation always starts like this:

“There has to be some mistake!”
