I got an email from them on July 2nd that they award me a certificate number and that I can’t held public as CPA yet.

I am just curious how long does it usually take for them to send out my certificate?

It took me two weeks to get my license number from IDFPR after I received my certificate number/letter from ILBOE and applied through IDFPR website. This was in January.

@Javilon did you wait 2 weeks after being certified by the Board and the Board sending it to the IDFPR to submit your application to the IDFPR?

Here was my timeline:

June 27: Passed final section
June 28: Received certificate number by email
June 29: Applied for license
July 18: Received license number from state
~July 20 – 23 : received mailed Certificate

@PJ I did not wait the two weeks. Below is my timeline

Jan 3 – got my email from ILBOE with certificate number
Jan 5 – Applied through IDFPR
Jan 16 – Received License number from state

Great, thanks. I received my certificate on 7/2/18 and waited until 7/15/18 to apply as that was when the ILBOE supposedly sent the certificate to the IDFPR.

The wait to be licensed has been excruciating. Way worse than waiting for scores.

I received my certificate number for IDFPR application within a week on July 10. I did not wait the 2 weeks and submitted my IDFPR application on July 11. That said, my wall certificate hasn't arrived yet and my IDFPR application status still says “Under Review.”

Lucky. Apparently NASBA and the State of Tennessee wants to take forever where I am. We can't even APPLY until NASBA sends scores after REEVAULATING our education and it's already been a month.
