In miles and/or time, and is it worth it?

45 miles away and it takes me 45 minutes. I've been doing this drive for almost 9 years. Not sure how much longer I can do it, but I love my job. Planning on moving closer to the office. So close that I can walk or drive for 5 minutes.

Started sitting in May 2002, on and off. But since 2008 I've been nonstop and my scores are....

Now – 2 miles one way, takes about 6 minutes if you don't count waiting for the train beforehand.

I used to live in FL and my commute took an hour each way…but I lived on an island across the street from the beach and drove a convertible so you didn't hear me complain! 🙂 (Those were the days!)

4 miles one way. I looked at my odometer this morning on my way to work! Depending what time I leave it can be 10 min or 25! Surface streets only, no freeway going that direction.

It's only 3.7 miles, but after I get off the express bus, I walk the last 0.9 miles to my office, so 45 minutes.

I don't mind the commute time so much, but when I'm running late I wish my office was closer to the Financial District. I actually enjoy getting that 15 to 20 minute walk in every morning, it wakes you up!

On the way home, I can pick up a bus 0.5 miles away and with wait time and traffic, it also takes 45 minutes.
