    Hello everyone,

This is going to be really long so please bear with me.

I have a question about studying for FAR using Yaeger review course and Jeff’s FAR notes. I checked my results for FAR and found out I had failed, but I still don’t know my score. The first time I took FAR I had no strategy and kept changing study methods. I also slacked off my last 2 weeks which was the reason why I failed. At first I thought giving myself 4 months would be sufficient but it was a bad idea. I did a lot of research and asked co workers and friends, and they all told me I shouldn’t spend more than 2.5 months for FAR. My only concern is I’m turning 24 and I don’t want to put my life on hold for 6 years just to study for these tests. All I have going on in my life is a full time job and I work around 40-50 hours/week which is not bad at all compared to single parents working full time. What kind of notes should I be taking while going through the Yaeger lecture and doing MCQ? For those of you that scored 90%+ on FAR, how were you studying? For those that took FAR multiple times what did you do differently that helped you pass?

I’ve been really stressed out with these tests because I feel like I’ll never pass them. However, seeing people that pass these tests after multiple attempts on each part really gives me motivation to push through.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
