My husband and I are going to Vegas this weekend to see Andrea Bocelli in concert. We planned this trip many, many months ago, it was very expensive and he is super excited about it. If the NINJAs are correct, and who would ever doubt them, score release will be Friday Dec 6 and Illinois usually releases the next day which will be Saturday Dec 7…concert day. My husband made me promise NOT to check scores until we get home from the trip so that if it is a fail…and I lose my credit for AUD… it won’t ruin our trip. I don’t know how I can keep this promise as I am on pins and needles for the score right now. Should I check the score and ask for forgiveness later? Or wait til I get home? What would you do?

If it is a PASS, it would be so much fun to celebrate the end of this nightmare in Vegas, baby!

Honestly, after all that you've been going through, I couldn't see how you could wait!

My audit exam ended up being rescheduled (out of my hands) in May, but I was originally supposed to find out my score while we were vacationing in Italy (which we had been saving/planning/anxious for for ages). My boyfriend didn't want me to check but I was adamant about looking. My exam ended up getting pushed back a week, and subsequently my score was released in the next wave. I still think I would have looked!

I'm sorry to hear about your father :(. I hope you'll be calling him with the good news soon!

Thank you EVERYONE for all the well wishes for my father. So nice to know that I'm not “alone” in all this…and that someone gets the importance…

My handsome fella and I talked it over and he has come around to my way of thinking. This score release is about my father…not me so I'm CHECKING!!! I did promise not to let bad news ruin our fun and I can keep that promise…absolutely.

My sister went to see Dad yesterday and she said he is not as bad as the drama queens in our family (there are a lot) seem to be saying. I talked to him today and told him I was coming to see him this weekend and he said “You are not invited. You have to celebrate in Las Vegas with your husband!” *tear* So we are going to Vegas and then I am going to drive down to South Georgia when I get back.

Someone posted on a thread today (I think it was a BEC thread) about the current vs. acid test ratio…and someone posted not to forget to deduct the prepaid assets. (Sorry…I don't remember what thread or who posted it.) I also don't remember if I had a question like this on my last exam…but I do remember a question with prepaid assets. So NOW, I've been freaking out. My brain is saying things like…”Would you have remembered to deduct prepaid assets? Did I answer that question wrong? It's a FAIL for sure! Worst part… I can't remember if I even actually got a current/acid test ratio question on FAR.

OMG – What a psycho process this exam is! Dear Lawd – have mercy and let this be the end of cpa exams for this little cat!!
