lateralus agMemberWhat up Jeff. I am kind of a newbie and wanted to say how much this forum has helped me through this agonizing process. If for no other reason but to meet other people going through the same stuff as you are. Call it a support group. I used to secretly laugh at people that were members of those kinds of groups. My experience through this testing has humbled me and shown me the real value in just talking to people that have gone through the same thing as you have.
Very good bull, as we say in Aggieland….

lateralus agMemberJeff, I sure wish I had found your stuff before I dropped 4 grand on my becker materials…..from what I have seen, it would have been as effective or more and a LOT less money…..
Live and learn. I have told several of my friends from school about your site and your materials though. I like your approach, and I like the forums (obviously)!

AnonymousInactiveOk- let's see if this thread is still read…
Hi everybody! After seeing another71 come up in a number of CPA Google searches (and also using a lot of the excellent information posted on this site), I decided I should stop merely reading and start contributing. This seems like a great community and I'm excited to be a part of it.
I'm an Illinois candidate (transplanted from the great state of Wisconsin) and after receiving my BEC score today, I am currently halfway through my CPA journey, while still working full-time and with heavy travel for work. This of course presents many challenges, but also unique opportunities. I look forward to meeting everyone and wish everyone the very best!

JennyParticipantHello! I'm rather new. I'm Jenny and I am from the sooner state. I work part time and also have an 11 month old little girl to keep me busy. I haven't passed any sections yet. So far have only taken 1 and didn't pass. I wasn't too shocked…I definitely could have spent more time studying.
Anyway, a coworker of mine mentioned this site, so I immediately looked it up for assistance & answers. Glad to have found it. 🙂

MelParticipantHello! I guess i'm still new. Just started posting sometime in October. I sit for my first part, BEC, on Monday, 11/26. I've got a little one at home too so my exams are going to be spaced out. I'm looking forward to starting this journey and getting it over with lol.
I've been reading this forum for months and knew that i was going to buy the Notes and Wiley test bank when my exam time came. And i'm not regretting it! The notes are awesome and Jeff's advice is awesome because somehow this information is sticking in my head. I would be surprised if i didn't pass on the first try! This forum is also great support and inspiration on those days that i need a pick me up.

magatha12MemberHello! I am still getting the hang of this. My name is Maggie from CT, I'll be graduating with my MBA in May and hoping to take one last vacation before diving into the CPA exam. I am looking give myself enough time to study and take REG by the end of next year, and that will be my starting point! I also work full time and I'm currently in grad school full time, so it is a lot at times! So I figure once I'm out, I'll be able to transition to the crazy study schedule more easily (I hope)!

GatorbatesParticipantI'm more of a stalker newbie. Found this website last Feb when I re-started my CPA journey. I'd put it on hold for 7 years due to wedding/children (yes, in that order). I comment a few times here and there if I think I can add some insight (or humor, which we all need). I've passed REG, just took BEC, and am hoping to be done with everything by April. I work full time as a Controller for an Engineering firm, and have a 5 and 3 year old at home, AND a wife that works. So study time is few and far between, and very precious.
Best of luck to everyone.
