Can anyone help me with a detailed study plan for AUD? Here is what I’m doing:

1. Watch becker lectures.

2. As I’m watching the lectures, I’m outlining the chapters (the emphasized parts). This is taking roughly 2.5 times the lecture. I feel like I’m not retaining anything by doing these and it takes forever.

3. Review the outline I made.

4. Work MCQs.

5. Do SIMS

6. Review previous chapters by reviewing outline & answering MCQs & SIMS that I got incorrect the first time through.

I don’t think I should outline the lectures because nothing sticks, but I don’t know what else to do because AUD is so freakin wordy.

I am doing Becker as a requirement for school so I have to listen to all the lectures. I am working full time + going to school + studying for CPA all at once. I don’t believe that spending 9 hours outlining is the best use of my time considering all the other stuff I have going on.

Thoughts?

Any advice is appreciated.

How do you make material “stick” in your mind? reading? practicing? lectures? a combination?

If you are spending time on outlines that don't seem to be helping, why do them?
I Would only make notes after answering MCQs, The explanations help made me understand.
