I am currently a student, studying for the exam. This is a very nice place to meet people who are on the same boat as me on this journey. I enjoyed reading many posts here; some of them are very supportive and encouraging. It’s great to see that I share a lot of similar experience with many of you. Hope everyone’s having a nice day!

Thanks, jfreelov! Congratulations to you on FAR as well! But score-wise, there is no difference between 75 and 99. I am currently on BEC, hopefully I can do it well too like you did. 🙂

    @ CR7:

Thank you! I got my Bachelor's degree last summer and started on my MAcc right away. So I have been constantly in study mold.

Alongside Becker, some of the graduate-level financial / international acty classes I took last fall helped me a little in terms of preparing for FAR. By the time I finished all the materials and practice questions, I still had about 2 weeks before the exam date. I just repeatedly kept doing MCQs and SIMs, and re-read chapters that I felt not so comfortable with, i.e. gov't & non-profit acty.

I have test anxiety, so I tend to over-study for exams, not just the CPA exam, but any exams. I am sure you and most other people are better at dealing with that kinda pressure than I do. So make sure you understand most of the material, you will be well set on the exam date. No extra effort is really needed. Good luck if you are in the process of preparing for FAR.
